I currently have a wildcat, if I replace it will be a turf tiger. I am demoing a turf tiger with the efi kawasaki from smith farm and garden.

Why so many votes for the Briggs? It would probably be my last choice.

I would never run a Briggs engine. Briggs imports Vanguard which is not made by them. Vanguard engines are powerful and fuel efficient. Very well made.

Yes you can. But when it is running wide open the mower is really good!

We have the 52' Turf Tiger with the 23hp Liquid Kawasaki, I wouldnt want to run anything but, It seems a bit underpowered with a mulch plate. I Have over 2200 hrs and never had a issue. No coils or anything but the regular maintenance. I know they no longer have the 23, but if the 31 efi runs anything like the 23 its a solid motor.

If you do a lot of eow lawns, foreclosures, or clean ups I would go with the 35 VG.
If not I would go Kohler efi for efficiency and no radiator to deal with. I have owned multiple TT's with the 35vg, and currently own a 460 Gravely with the 29 Kohler efi.
