Quick Value Check - 48'' Turf Tracer

Hey guys,

I talked this guy down to $2700. Is this fair for this mower? It looks pretty clean - the guy said he bought it used a year ago as a back up mower and only used it once. Just want to double check before I pick it up. He estimates less than 300 hrs on it.

Price seems very fair. He could get $3000 easily earlier in the season.

Do run the mower a bit before you buy, check for engine and hydro leaks, check belts, spindles etc. Just take it real slow if your not used to a WB. Make sure to run it turning left, right, reverse etc to make sure it's really responsive and the hydro works nice. Don't be pressured to buy it if you feel any negative vibes. Also if he would take $2700 Im sure he would take $2500. Don't promise him you want to buy it before you get there. Just say you want to take a look. If you want it say you only have $2500 if he is interested.

Yeah - I already went and checked it out today. The $2700 was all I could talk him down to. I don't know much about these, but the only thing that stood out was that it pulled to the right ever so slightly. He said it could be adjusted. Is this correct?

Other than that it started right up, sounded strong, spindles were solid, and was very responsive.

You know I'm not too sure about that. I believe sometimes mine does the same thing then I think it might just be in my head or certain terrain when mowing. I'm honestly not sure what would cause it to do that. Hopefully someone in here can give you some feedback. Also you could always call and ask an Exmark dealer as well. Whatever you choose I hope you dig it bro.

There is a knob for adjustment to the tracking. That is a non issue.
