Had a problem at the ATM today.

I guess its another lesson learned the hard way.. I have been going to the ATM to deposit every sunday.. this time it took most of the checks, spit 3 back out and kept my card, it was locked up.. kept beeping.. talk about mad.. I don't know why I thought that was a good idea in the first place. Supposedly wells fargo filed a claim cancelled my card and is gonna make sure its taken care of..

I guess I'm gonna have to start going into the bank now. Was wondering how the rest of you do it? I have seen that wellsfargo has that desktop deposit thing.. I have been going to the ATM because i don't really put many checks in each week, and it seemed to work fine. Most of my customers pay with paypal anyway. I was sitting at that atm for about an hour on the phone with them. Atleast it wasn't alot of money, but it was alot for me.

Wells Fargo machines don't like a big stack of checks. I've had it had it happen too and luckily was able to pull the check back out. If I can't get inside I do it one at a time.

this is what i will do from now on, or i will go into the bank. I actually let my wife deposit the checks this time because she was driving.. I never had that problem. lol. Not sure what happened. I didn't drive away from that ATM until they comfirmed on the phone that my card was cancelled out, and they filed a claim on the $506.00 worth of checks that must have slipped into the matrix or something... the other half of them got spit back out, i'm assuming they got jammed up in there is what happend. after an hour of sitting there, the ATM reset itself, and was "no longer taking deposits" you could insert another card, but mine never came out yet.. wierd wild stuff. I have a hard time enough getting people to pay me, now the ATM is eating it up. these banks are slick though.. i've about had it with wellsfargo anyways.

I use the ATM. It can be a pain sometimes, but better than being treated like a potential criminal inside.

"Sir, there's a sign on the door - no hats allowed."

I was so ticked. I really wanted to go buy a sombrero and go back in wearing THAT.

And maybe a mask.
