Permagreen Help

So I recently bought a permagreen magnum with around 600 hours a few weeks ago, I finally got around to calibrating the sprayer today and the results are not looking good. This is the first one I have ever owned so any tips or advice would be appreciated,

On both broadcast nozzles I am putting down 14oz per 1000/ from what ive read that seems really low and i'm thinking the pump is shot. RPM's/ speed are fine and no leaks. It seems to have good pressure coming out of the tips and the width of spray is around 8'.

thanks,

This is right up my alley as I own a Mag with 600 hours as well.....

Yes your output is way low. I get about .4 gal/K out of mine.

Check the ball valve underneath the nose shield to make sure it is opening wide open. This is an easy problem spot to miss. Check that all screens are clear in the tank and in the nozzle bodies. Make sure no lines are kinked or leaking.

Make the pump replacement your last resort...as it is a pricey fix.

Thanks for the response/ advice. Also when the valve is open ( not engaging the lever to spray ) it is flowing water through the tip. Not enough to spray but enough to drizzle out of the nozzle. Dont know if that has anything to do with it just thought it may help find a solution. Thanks
