Bad Boy Outlaw XP review after 80 hours

My Outlaw XP now has 80 hours on it. I am pleased with it other than the pulley issues. The idler pulley on the deck has been replaced twice as well as the idler pulley for the hydros. I'm sure there are those out there that this would scare off just because of that but my dealer fixes problem in ten minutes and sends me on my way at no cost to me other than a little of my time. For the price I just can't beat it. I am so pleased with the performance otherwise and the price I am purchasing a Bad Boy stander tomorrow. My dealer, (Warranty Plus) in Elizabethton Tennessee has allot to do with that. They are the best I have ever seen the entire time I have been in business.

Update

XP now has 150 hours on it. No problems at all of any kind. It likes gas with the big Vanguard but it is well worth it for the power I get. I just had a bagger installed yesterday.

Hotdog , how do you like the electric deck along with the foot operated deck? I'm not understanding the purpose to have both. I had 2008 Pup with the electric deck & now own a 2012 outlaw extreme. I'm going to look at the 2014 xp tomorrow if it rains. I prefer the foot operated deck over electric.

You will learn to love love that foot pedal. I cannot go with out it. I never ever use the electric deck. I have a stander where it only has the electric deck where I am forced to use it. I will give you the perfect situation for it. If you own a walk behind you will thoroughly understand. Let's say you are mowing and come up on a small obstruction such as a rock or small short stump. With a walk behind you would simply push down on the handle bars to go over it and keep mowing. With the foot pedal, it works exactly the same way. Another benefit of the foot pedal is scalping. If you are on uneven terrain and you know the mower will scalp, you can simply press down on the pedal. In 2015 I am trading in when my warranty expires. I am going with the compact diesel for the sole reason that the larger diesel does not have the foot operated deck. That is how much I value the use of the foot pedal.
