Most fine dinning restaurants are booming during the holiday season with banquets and Christmas parties. By fine dinning I mean Country Club type places. I did this for about three or four years. Starting as a dish washer and progressing to a prep cook then a chef. Restaurants love it cause you are there for the busiest time then gone till next year. As mowing season slows around Labor Day I would ease into it and be full on by Halloween. The last day I would work was Christmas Eve. The bottom falls out of that industry in January giving you plenty of time to get equipment ready for the up and coming season. Btw, usually a ton of overtime.
