New lawn question

I have recently replanted my whole yard Harley raked the whole thing spread the seed and put starter fertilizer down. My question is what if anything should I put down on the lawn from now until winter? Sorry if these are stupid questions I cut lawns and do clean ups, I do not know anything about fertilizing aspects of lawncare.

Fertilize

Apply fertilizer once a month till it freezes. You can use weed control after a couple mowings.

Water is still most important. You need less when the weather is cool. Fall seed--good plan.

Fertilizing once a month is not a good rule of thumb... N always dissolved at the surface encourages living thatch and poor rooting, just on the face of the idea...
Its time that the industry looks at the good of the Turf,,, rather than wasting their clients Money...
