how hard is it to backlap a reel?

How difficult is it? I know i would need to purchase the machine and compound but as far as the process goes?...

Its not hard, but it is frustrating. The brand of mower will dictate the adjustment method. Some will be adjusted by the reel, others by the bed knife. Tru-cut uses a spanner wrench, or a nail punch and you can spin it with a drill and socket, CA Trimmers use a threaded rod which is easier to adjust, but you need a seperate way to spin it.
There are a lot of other brands, but those are the only ones I've ever lapped.
