A business owner considering switching businesses

Hey guys, I'm new on here. When I graduated high school I started a lawn care business. After two years I sold it to a local competitor and started a carpet cleaning business. Im 23 now. Personally I hate the carpet cleaning world but it is good money. I just took on a partner and that company is pretty much running on its own now that he stepped in. Since the day I sold my lawn care business I missed it. Im deeply considering getting back into it. Any thoughts? I live in michigan so it would be lawn care and snow plowing. It's a very competitive business but I feel my strong suite is marketing. I'd love to hear some thoughts or stories ( successful ones or not )

Thanks!

Carpet cleaning in the winter is tough. Residential is almost completely dead. Commercial is available, how ever prices are hacked so bad.

I didn't know that, I figured it would be busy during the Holidays.

If your starting a Lawn bus its a great time to seek out deals on equiptment.

I've been looking. Haven't seen a whole lot of zero turns with decent hours on them. Everything has 1,000 plus hours. Its hard to beat the 0% financing for new mower to
