Are you sure this is safe? Show more how it works and how fast can you pump?

Safe I would say yes that side of the tool box is devoted to fuel and oils nothing more actualy has a divided to keep every thing seperate from the other side switch is cover with a flip style protector. The tanks are reused/never used fuel cans ( couldnt use them because they were green and not tan) from the National Guard unit I am in here in NC. Its also hard to see but the "fuel rack" is bolted to the bed of the truck. as far as GPM not sure on that but I can fill my mower in about 45sec to a 1 min if its empty. Although I see where you may think as it is unsafe but I think i have taken the proper precautions the is also a fire extighusher located in the passger side of the truck. Ill update promptly if I run into any issues with it.

Thanks for the inquire

I thought that you were not permitted to have any gasoline in an auxiliary transfer tank?

I ponder on this myself for a whle so I hooked t all "no gas" and went over to the local DMV office to speak with Motor Carrier Enforcment. He looked it over and said I dont see why not nut to be on the safe side do you have a HazMat endosement, which I do. In short you can but it has to be in the proper contaner.

Ah okay yeah the HazMat endorsement changes the ball game then, you're fine. I know most auxiliary diesel tanks it's just a grounding/static electricity issue, so they say no gasoline. But your setup seems pretty compact and efficient. Just out of curiosity, since you're dealing with auxiliary gasoline do you have to have it DOT inspected? I know as far as diesel goes you're allowed so many gallons before you need to address all the fine print.

Well all and all its still the same 115 gallons if i remember correctly. Technically I shoudl but to be honest I have not, mainly because the DOT here doesnt really bother the handfull of LCO's here mainly becasue we are all well know and most of us do our best to play by the rules. It helps that im under 10,000 Lbs also
