Z spray tips

Is everyone still using the AI 110 degree tips on a sprays for herbicide and pre apps? That's all I've been using but have noticed my golf course using what looks like the TTI tips.

According to the teejet book the TTI have a excellent rating on contact herbicides vs Ai at good. With pressure above 30 psi

Z spray tips

Twin Turbo nozzles produce a pretty coarse droplet so at higher pressures in wind they work well. I always liked flat fans for contact sprays though. Its a balance to fit your needs as well as can without changing out nozzles all the time. I like the AI nozzles but did switch the m out for larger size so I could spray at higher speeds They all have their strong points.

Are these what you are talking about ? I have used them and they work very good I ran 3way and fert threw them but Contact herbicides are a no no.

A finer spray works good with contact herbicides for more coverage

Yes

I was checking I to the turbo teejet induction. Thinking a finer pattern would give a better coverage.

Looks like the turbo teejet page 5 would give a nice pattern also.

TTI tip are not fine they are course to xt course more than AI tips

Why not just use a adjuvant that spreads the herbicide over the leaf
