Anyone run Kubota ZD21s?

I'm looking at a ZD21 with 2k hours on it. Are these a good ZTR?

They are known for hydro issues. That's why Kubota redesigned them. If it was dirt cheap I'd buy it, but know what you made be getting into. A dealer would tell you about their issues.

Dang, I heard of a lot of crankcase gasket leaks, shaft issues, gearbox issues that were ungodly costs, but that link is sick. Could you imagine buying an $8000 to $12000 mower then turning around and having to drop $3000 to $4000 bucks in it to fix an issue that other mowers don't have and was a known issue.... People get pissed here when they have to replace a $35 to $100 tire and they wont warranty....lol

The new zd300's are awesome but I would not touch those. I don't know what's with the gear box and why people pay so much. I good bit would be the case itself because its cast iron. People think its better replace the whole thing when they might just need a gear.
Kubota is good about waranty. I've haven't had an issue. If you read through they extended the warranty to 4 years on those mowers to cover the cost and covered some transmissions when not in waranty.
