Trailer Light Problems

My trailer lights work properly with my headlights off, but when I turn on my headlights my left trailer light does not work. Everything works properly when the head lights are off. Any ideas? Thanks. Jon.

Tell me about it.. After having so many people complain my trailer lights weren't working (& they were they just weren't bright enough for them ) I went with the LED tail lights & couldn't figure out why they weren't that bright still, & eventually had to run a ground wire from the plug on back instead of just grounding the light to the trailer... Problem solved & you can see them from way far away now...

My lights didn't work for some reason I couldn't find. After little research found there was a inline fuse box with two fuses under my dash for running lights and brake lights could be something like that..
