Looking for opinions

Looking for opinions on a website domain name. My company name is Platinum Landscape Management, I think platinumlandscapemanagement.com is too long for people to type in. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Calvin

It's the business name. I think you are fine.

PLmgt.com or something of that sort.
Platinumlandscapemangement.com is hard to read especially if you had it on your trucks.

I would tend to keep the full word "platinum" in there, as that is likely the name that people associate with your business.

I would have suggested www.platinumlandscape.com but it's not available.

Perhaps you could try "platinum<yourtownname>.com"?

I would consider PLM.COM, if available.

All 3 letter domains were taken years ago. Only chance is catching an expired/deleted one (good luck). For example, PLM.com was registered in '96 and is next set to be renewed in 2015.

I agree with at least trying to keep platinum in the domain, however you're going to have a difficult time finding usable names with it. "Platinum" is one of those high-cachet words that is also popular as an exact match word. For instance, platinumLM.com is taken.

{smartass mode}

Well you could always inquire about buying it. Company I used to work for spent only $15,000 to buy one.
