Remembering Joe Duich

Legendary turfgrass mind and mentor, Dr. Joe Duich, died last Friday. His impact on the industry will forever be felt.

I graduated from Michigan State turf program in 1981. Joe Duich was much revered then by professors I respected at MSU. I worked with a PSU grad in early 80s and have been friends with another for the last 15 years. They and so many others have such good things to say about Dr. Duich. I am sorry to learn of his passing.
