RLM Landscaping

Here it is another year! Some updates for everyone about my company.

Moved into a shop this weekend! It's 25x40 and located 5 minutes from my home. My equipment was outgrowing my tiny lot and tiny shed so I took the plunge on this. Plus it will give me a place indoors to work on my trucks and equipment instead of in the driveway.

Planning on getting my dump truck and trailer graphic wrapped. Dump truck got a little damage to the driver side door and wrapping the truck will be cheaper than painting it. Also going to have the trailer wrapped so that everything matches and is black this year.

In the process of removing all the rust on the dump body and repainting it. Going to POR15 the chassis and the underside of the dump body and paint the rest of it black.

Anymore questions feel free to ask!

Loving your GMC & the rims! Does the black ever make the interior hotter in the summer? With my truck red it wouldn't be too bad but a black leather interior sucks! Never again!

Are you still going to stick with the 1 Walker for the mowing side of your business? Do you feel the need for a back up or want to expand the maint side of things? Big fan of the black trucks!

My F350 is an older brother to yours.... I have an 03....

Got it from an auction with 57,000 miles and an 8 ft. Western Pro for 7 G's....

I am super interested in the rust and paint work you are doing on it... Can you explain a little more?

Mine was a municipality vehicle so needles to say it is rusty but still in great condition and I want to keep it that way....

My plan on the work for the dump body is to air needle the underside knock off all the large rust areas and then wire wheel it and POR15 it. For the rest I am air needling large rust areas and grinding them down. Also removing all the old paint with a sand blaster and grinder then going to prime and paint it.

I plan on buying the new scag swz hydro walkbehind that they came out with. Just went to the trade show yesterday and it looks like a nice unit. I have some properties with hills that the walker was starting to tear up so it'll be a nice addition/backup.

My plan with the maintenance side is to pick up another 20-30 accounts so that I can have a two man crew busy 5 days a week with cutting. Then I will take care of installs, mulch and other jobs with another helper.

Thanks! It's not that bad I usually leave the windows down while on the job site. I also have a remote start so I'll start it up when I'm ready to leave for the day and let the a/c run and cool it off before I hop in.
