Homemade walker ramp for curbs

I know walker has a plastic ramp but I was thinking about making my own. I would only need something like a 2 x4 or a 2x8 with 1x4 screwed over half of it.

I then wondered if I could use the router and cut grooves so it would rest on the front wheel arms. The arm between the deck pin and wheels?

Anyone got specs for a homemade ramp? I am starting a new guy on the walker as leaves approach and I fear for the underside of the mower!!

I have used a 2x8 with a block high enough to match most curbs screwed on one end. Usually it is faster to find another way over the curb than to get the ramps. You can also back the trailer so the ramp lands on the lawn if possible.
