Henbit

As I'm spraying pre emergent today I notice a lot of henbit already 3 or 4 inches tall in the flower beds.

Does henbit germinate earlier than poa or is this a clear sign I am way too late putting down pre?

I've seen some at one commercial property we only mow.

Been dry and pretty warm here over last few weeks. Forecast looks cool and wet going forward.

I normally never see henbit until December or January and only then in lawns where now fall pre was sprayed.

The nights have been cool in north atl. I saw poa about 5 weeks ago doing my first rnd of specticle. I was kinda pist because specticle here says you can spray the first app up to oct 15th. In lawns that are in shade and don't heat up it's gonna germinate early. I have seen henbit three weeks ago so henbit and poa germinate at the same time.
