palmetto Palms and termites?

I was hired to clean up a vacant property. Not sure how long it has been vacant but it is in a nice neighborhood and the homes are less than 10 years old. the 30' Palmetto palm had many old cut frawns that were falling off the bottom 15' of the trunk. decided to pull them off and noticed that the entire trunk of the palm is full of termites. The top of the tree looks pretty healthy but the trunk is ate up bad. Has anyone ever seen this? Obviously it needs treated along with an inspection of the dwelling. Any recommendations for the property owner?

I have. House needs to be treated. A L&O certified applicator needs to treat the termites in the tree. Premise, Talstar, or Termidor.
