I would be $400. $500 max if its really good. I've seen some nice newer belt drive machines for $800-$1200.

500 tops. Its older but aslong as it runs and works it should serve you very well

I always liked those mowers with the manual PTO, I think $400 would be a fair offer IMO....On another note, I don't think that engine is a Briggs n Stratton. That looks a lot like the Kawasaki classic FB460V. Look at the air filter and muffler. In fact its got the same sticker on the front as this one.

12.5 hp on a 48" is a bit underpowered, especially if you have a thick lawn. It might be fine as is or you might easily drop another $500 in replacement parts for belts, tires, etc.
