I am new in business not in the industry. My company is in South East Michigan. My crew will consist of me and 2 labors. I was wondering what your opinion of starting wages would be.
Guy #1 --2 years experiance Guy #2 --No lawn exp. at all. Thanks for your help!

you have two questions and one poll. I start everyone w/ no experience at $9. Someone with 2 years experience I'd start at $9.50-$10.00. You never know what you get with previous experience.

It depends on your area. Are you looking for responses only from your area? Around me, inexperienced workers start at $10.00. Someone with 2 years experience and good references could easily start at $12.00, and move up quickly.

I pay my best employee $10 per hour. I will increase it to $12 per hour when i send him out on his own.
