I've been in contact with the seller of this truck.
He is interested in possibly trading for my dump trailer.
I love the all black.

1999 Chevrolet Dump Truck. 8 yard bed, Manual Tarp , Cold A/C , Manual 5 speed transmission. 20,000 miles on new 454 gasoline crate engine. Installed new clutch when the motor was installed.

I'm not too concerned about the gas engine. We don't have any hills around here. Plus I'm fairly mechanically inclined when it comes to the older GM gas motors.

I know a guy who runs a residential paving company with basically the same truck. I know he's used it continuously for 10+ years. His only thing is the fact that it is gas and hauling in these mountains, but most of his work is residential drives.

the one thing I had constant with a 454 was overheating on long hauls or long periods at idol. Of course, gas mileage sucks but that's to be expected. Probably a lot cheaper to work on a 454 than a diesel.

I think that truck would be handy.

I always get the weird trades. Guy just texted me to see if I'd be interested in trading my dump trailer for this truck.
98' selfloader/dump with cummins diesel/ Allison tranny.

It's a badass truck. Just have no clue what I could do with it lol.
