My new seeder.

Just got our invention put together after getting it back from the powder coating shop.
My Dad has a small welding and fabrication shop. I mentioned how long it takes me to verticut lawns with my 21" machine and he asked me would a 48" machine be better. 2 weeks later he had it drawn up and a month later he had the thing done!
It is a floating head 48" powerseeder. We used it on an acre lot and it worked great! I'm real excited for the upcoming renovation season.
We used the old 7 HP engine off my Lawn Solutions renovator that I got the 9 HP up grade for. Didn't think it would be strong enough to turn the blades but the floating heads made it work great.
I pull it with my ZSpray.

my seeder

Her are some pics from underneath. It has 3 individual floating heads. The depth is controlled by the shoe in between the end cutting blades. They will adjust from 0" to 1" if I remember right. The heads can be raised by the electric motor on top controlled by a switch on my Z. The black handle on the top left is used to engage the blades. Dad made everything but the motor and wheels. He also drew the plans for the blades and had them lazer cut and hardened from another local company.
