Giant-Vac, different story. But I guess things breaking or cracking is tolerated on heavy duty "commercial" brands like scag (in particular).

I havE a 9hp subaru and 13hp honda billy goat. Had the 9 for 5 years now, only thing that broke was the chute cable. I've had the 13 for a year now and no problems. I think these machines are built tough and they are a good 30 pounds lighter then the little wonder
