Kawaski FB 460 V missing surging

Hi i have a kawaski Fb 460 V on a ransome. My trouble is it surges at wide open. Not bad but its a little miss in it. Dosent do it at half or below When i take the air filter off its fine. I have reset the governor cleaned the carb out. plug is pretty new. And the airfliter is clean. I think next new gaskets and a new rubber elbow that looked a bit crushed. Any orther ideas? Gas was fresh to

Aslo when the blades are running runs great it just when the blades are off that it misses. This ones a tough one

Air filters can LOOK clean but still be restrictive, Try a new one......

Had same issue once. The intake valve was not seating and the blowby pulse had an effect on the carb flow. Lapped valves and ground a few thousands off of the back of the valve stem for the correct lash. Ran fine thereafter.

wouldn't hurt to check the fuel filter either...

i ll risnse the fuel filter out. I am ordering new gaskets and ebow right now

Agreed, if removing the air filter fixes a problem that means it needs a new air filter.

Come on, stop cheaping out on us already, believe me, even at $3 a fuel filter is cheap.
If you place the whole order it shouldn't affect the shipping or not by much, get a new fuel filter while getting the rest of the parts.
