I just bid another leaf removal job today. i just went with a flat rate this time. i think that may be the way to go for me. i'll see how the next couple of bids go and decide based on that.

We have been giving a time estimation, then quoting a price range. Works good so far. It will be easier when they have all fallen

I have a dump trailer so it may be different but I built a 7wx7lx6h box that sat in the front of my dump trailer leaving 7ft of room for my mower/other equipment in the back. Rather than building a lower height box that took up the whole trailer. I only have a few big leaf jobs but I never filled that box to the max between them and I do dump it out at the end of the day. It was nice to have the choice to have the mower. Personally I'd rather have a dump truck to hold the leaves and have the ability to use a trailer for equipment or overflow.
