What is the size of the intake?

I know you probably couldnt do this with your setup but I've found sometimes holding the intake hose over the pile and moving back and forth sucks them up faster than raking. Just my own observation. Nice straight pile and one guy in the truck moving forward while the other works the vac. Unfortunately I'm jumping in and out of the truck. Inefficient.

I hate watching my town use their Tarco leaf vacuums. Obviously municipal and expensive, but they could probably suck up that pile in a minute or less.

Hard to see but it's a good sized pile. I am pleased with the giant vac so far. I doubt there is another 18hp loader that out performs it.

Yea it seems people say 18hp is the way to go for the non towable sized units.

Don't get me wrong the 29hp skid mounted model would be pretty nice.
