HELP... MINI Recessed LED Downlight????

I have been perusing manufacturers websites and then thought I'd post the question here.
I am quoting a project that will have a pergola structure built off the house and with two posts support on the other side. The structure will be made of 2 x 8 's , no AZAK or other jacketing. I need some small micro led fixture that can be drilled into the skinny/ vertical boards of the pergola and down light the dining area.

I was thinking of something that would require a 1 inch hole or less that could be pressure fit within a hole drilled in the boards.

The wire can then be fed through a smaller hole to the top edge of the 2 x 8 's and then run to power and concealed.

Any thoughts??

Thanks

George

I don't know of anything substantially powerful enough in that size. The closest thing to what you are looking for would be to use an FX, PO light. I use them as recessed micro lights quite often. I'm not certain of the exact lumen output but I would imagine it's got to be at least 150.

Look to Focus lighting and their SL-37 Series. These are the smallest, lowest profile, recessed fixtures that carry an cETL listing that I have ever found. They are not adjustable, just straight down, but they can sure get you out of a pickle, at a good price point too. http://www.focusindustries.com/product/sl-37-series

George, I should have read your whole post before responding. I know of some stuff you might be interested in. Integrated LED product from Italy... sounds more expensive than it is really. Send me a PM for more information.

Regards
