Retention pond cleanup

There are some pics of a pond that I bid on. It is really hard too see how bad it is and there is a steep bank behind it that has too be cleaned. It is about 40,000 sq/ft.

Having the mulching head for the excavator has really opened up a whole new area for my buisness. This type of work is falling between the cracks for other contractors as it is not accesible by skid steer and too big for normal grubbing by hand. If I get it then I will post some after pics.

Size-wise that doesn't look too bad. Pond dimensions aren't too bad either. Is it swampy? Can you mow it with a bushhog and just use the mulcher on the slopes?

Pictures are decieving. The last few pics are up on the top of the hill behind the pond that has to be mulched. There is very little flat on top of the pond around the fence all sloped and the bottom of pond is holding water. If you will notice how tall the trees are fromn the first pics and notice how high above them I am on the last few pics.

When the recession hit almost all retention pond maint stopped. They are finally getting around too cleaning them up.

hope you get it. Looks like it would be a good place to take before and after pics for your advertising. Who knows what's down in there so make sure you are covered for the time cutting wire out of your mower. I imagine those ponds catch a little bit of everything.
