redmax whip handle improvement

our local dealer had their open house yesterday and was talking with rmax rep about my dislike for the new since about 4 years ago slippery hard to grip plastic handles with the built in idiotic plastic levers for enviromental reasons or whatever , told him i much prefered the old round rubber type because of better grip and control . so he tells me no problem you can buy an old style rubber replacement handle and everything will hook right up no problems . im not sure of the price , and for some theyre going to probably see the extra cost as a waste . but for me even if its $40 its worth it because im positive it'll make me whip faster . and next new whip we buy im asking dealer if theyll switch em out at no cost because they could turn around and sell the new one they remove for probably more than they sell the old rubber ones for . just figured ide throw that idea out there in case theres others that dislike new plastic handles . ps - the rubber ones are no doubt more durable and have less moving parts to break !
