We've still got a bunch. Luckily the snow is about gone so we should be able to start in again tomorrow.

Hate to admit it, But I have a few that didn't see a final visit.

Momma nature wasn't playing nice this fall-this doesn't look to end soon-so we may be calling them spring cleanups....

I am up creek , I had 83 jobs scheduled from now until spring and today one of my vacs died. We have had rain after rain , freezing nights, noon before it warms up and now this . The new vac system will put me 2 weeks out from now before the trailer is ready for pick up.

Not a happy day

Got 31 more to go and we have snow and arctic temps now so its not looking that good. On the plus I have a sever case of gout in my right hip right now and haven't been able to walk for more than a minute or two for the last few days so the snow is a welcome break. I got enough cash to make it till spring with no problems so I'm not that worried.

Do you guys contact the people that did not get serviced and basically say sorry we lost the weather ect and you will be first on the list come spring? That is what I plan on doing this week. Snow and temps below freezing all week I'm done.

We can't even keep up with the work right now we are so busy. If it isn't raining we are working, even on saturdays and sundays just trying to keep up. The rain has been a little of the problem here and there but we did some marketing this year and the phone is ringing off the hook, more than I ever expected. There's a good bit of competition in my area so I'm not complaining at all. Good problem to have but I've lost, and am still losing, jobs because I couldn't/can't get to them fast enough.

Up until this Fall, cleanups and leaf removal have always been sort of sporadic, real busy a few days here and there and then days where I was praying the phone would ring. This year I decided to do a little extra marketing cause I need to keep the guys busier in the fall (and me too) and it paid off. I'm bringing in another worker, probably part time to start, next week and buying another blower.
