New guy in Colorado
Hey everyone -
New guy here starting out in Colorado, which is already a bad place to start. Mainly looking to learn as much as I can before spring hits. Luckily this isn't my primary job, just a side-business, so I can start out small and see where it goes.
Out here it seems like people are into conserving water lately, so "xeriscaping" is becoming pretty popular. I personally think it looks terrible, and will obviously try to market to people who agree.
The focus will be on trying to establish and maintain a green lawn, but still try to find ways to do it with as little water use as possible.
Any tips/tricks you guys have on ways to do that would be greatly appreciated.
Also looking for what is the best "bang for the buck" service to offer starting out. Aeration, sprinkler adjustments, mow-and-go, or what? This will probably be mostly afternoons and weekends to start, so no big jobs until we get established.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to learning from the experts.
