Kajun, I may know of a trailer you might be interested in for sale... Let me see if I can find the pictures.

Take a look at old thread. Post #28.

http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?t=376825&page=3

Cousin came to me the other day wanting to know if I wanted to buy it. But it doesn't fit me at all, but might be what you are looking for. It was custom built last year. Absolutely nothing wrong with trailer, just he's probably going to be getting out of business and is looking to sell it so he can purchase a deck over. He had the whole floor done in tread plate over the top of the frame so there is no place for clippings to collect and rot your floor out. Thought it was really neat.

I'd love to have it as far as how nice it is and how it's built, but it just doesn't fit my needs. PM if your interested.

Sorry back to the subject at hand.... Great looking machine. Like the radio... Sometimes cabs can be too quiet. But how nice is the heating & ac. Have any problem with it bending your ramp on the green trailer?

ETPRO- the heat is great, I had it on the lowest blower setting with a tshirt and sweater and it was hot hot. I had to turn it off for a while. I havent used the a/c yet.

On the trailer, no it hasnt bent it yet, but Ive only moved it on that trailer 1 time. I have moved my old 242B Cat many times on that trailer with no problems. The ramps are more heavy duty than they look.

Wow...we just got a quote for the same machine, loaded, and it came out to 65K out the door. I mentioned that I knew someone who got one for under 50K out the door, and the salesman looked at me like I was crazy. Not sure how you managed to get it at that price, but congrats, it sure is a great machine.

Dang 65k thats crazy. My sales guy said the price i got was for a special end of the year pricing Cat was offering. It was supposed to be about 20% off of the sale price. I guess its true.

Shop it against a comparable machine of any other brand and Cat will come way down on their numbers. They want a larger share of the small equipment market

Special pricing doesn't matter. They obviously can sell it at that price so theres no reason you can't get that deal.

He should take a road trip down here Alban is a huge company
