Is there an easier/ quicker way to bill with quickbooks?

Here's how I've been billing forever with quickbooks:

I have an excel spread sheet with all the customers and the price per visit or the monthly price next to the name. I keep track of visits/schedule with gopher. Once a month I pull up the excel sheet/quickbooks and gopher. I go thru gopher for all the per visit customers to see how many times I visited and make invoices for those customers in quickbooks. I use the excel sheet for their prices. Then I use the excel sheet for all the monthly customers and make an invoice in quickbooks with those prices. Then I either print the invoice or email it depending on preference. When I say monthly I mean the customer has a set monthly price. There has to be an easier and quicker way with less chance of human error in billing. Does anyone know any tricks with quickbooks?

I actually send "statements", although on top I have changed all wording to "invoice". At the end of each day, I enter all the days work. We are primarily mowing. I have up to 70 entries each night. Only takes a few minutes.

From the home page I click statement charges. Select customer. Select service. I have each possible mowing price in that drop down box. Hit record.

So 2 or 3 clicks I have each entry done. I bill monthly, so at the end of each month I click statements and with 1 click I print them out.

I'm going to check these things out. I figured I wasn't using all the features of quickbooks. I hate that I can't just use gopher but the billing and expense part is horrible. For me it's only good for scheduling.

The billing on gopher works great for me. But i bill by the job. Thinking going monthly with gopher may be different though..

It also makes billing harder when you have people who want to be charged per visit and others that like equal monthly payments.

Yeah quickbooks has a "notes" section right by each customer. My notes just say how they are billed and what not

Set priced customers per month can used memorized transactions in QuickBooks. ?.it will either automatically create the invoice on whatever date you set or allow you to decide when to create.
My scheduling software, clip, transfers all the data into QuickBooks and takes like 10 to 15 minutes...I have set price, per month customers as well as per cut customers...I don't have to look anything up...after I setup a cut, I include the price and when completed, it records it and is ready for tranfer to QuickBooks.
I email all of my invoices and have done so for 10 years
