2005 M48 Tank... How to remove the deck??

Hey Everyone,

This summer I picked up an 05 M48-KW Tank and love it.

Now that it snowed I tired to drop the deck and put on the plow kit, but somehow I am not figuring it out from the instructions. If any of you have done it I would appreciate a pointer or two.

I lowered the deck, removed the drive belt and pulled the six pins. My questions are as follows...

1. How does the bearing lift brace on the front of the deck come off? Do I pull the Lift Link Rod out of the pillow blocks?

2. The instructions say to pull the deck to the operator left side, but all the pins make me think I have to go to the right. The side with the grass shoot on it?

Since none of what I see lines up with the "simple" instructions in the manual I figured I better ask someone that knows.

Thanks in advance, since I can't find any postings on this I am sure that I overlooked something simple I the cold..

Thanks for the response, but it's not that it's stuck. The problem is that I don't really understand what need a to be removed at the front of the deck.

Hoping that an owner or previous owner can give me some advice on the steps required to remove it.
