^^^ I find the variety interesting. I'd think since, both, Toro and eXmark offer the same two machines you have, you would've stuck with one brand. Is there a reason why you didn't buy a Toro pusher?

They did not have any toro 21 inch mowers. The GS in the back was bought over the exmark because they didnt have any exmark zero turns. The dealer said he was getting a better deal on the toro GS over the vantage which is why he didnt have any. They had one toro and it was the 30 inch mower which I do not need at this moment. He gave me a good deal on the exmark 21. Both mowers out the door for 9200.

Congratulations on the machines. I bought the Exmark 21" last year. It's been really good. The cut quality is excellent, it bags very well with liitle to no wet grass sticking to the deck, and is a decent mulcher. The only issues I have had are a hard starting Kawi mower in cold weather, drive belts that keep slipping, and a bag that doesn't fit snug. Dealer corrected these under warranty. We shall see what the new toro does. Not sure if it will surpass the Exmark version.

Sounds like an interesting business model he's using.

Is that a Gravely Belt Drive as well? If so, how do you like it?

Yes thats a 2013 Gravely Pro 48. That thing is a beast. When I was mowing with a mulch kit on, it had a excellent cut. I pulled the mulch kit off for some spring cleanups and that mower ran like a bush hog.

Here's a video that toro posted on youtube for the new commercial 21s:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKAtO-IVzFY

I saw the base model with the one speed transmission yesterday at the dealer. It looks like a carbon copy of the Exmark 21, only painted red with different wheel adjustment systems. The asking price was $1 014 but I live in Canada...where lots of identical things are way more expensive than in the US.

Pretty mice video, it actually shows some grass being cut which is nice. I like the base model style with the 2 bail controls, not sure why they didn't put the upgraded kai engine on that one, instead it has a smaller tank and smaller air filter as well as the lack of oil filter. I remember this engine being on an older toro commercial 21 that some may remember, it had the same engine but personal pace control system but also had side discharge, and that was a great mower, seems like they are going backwards and not forwards in their improvements. To me the exmark seems like a better option, you get the upgraded kai engine as well as 2 bail control system. I still love my toro 22156 models, the ability to side discharge is a must in the spring time.
