Scag has OCDC on their website under accessories . I was looking at them but I haven't ever used them. How do they cut when it's closed around flower beds and such.? Does it leave a trail? Can you use it to mulch leaves and such?

Of course it leaves a trail. It's just blocking the chute. It's not a mulch kit.
