1975 Chevy C50......what's the tonage?

Not sure if this truck is 1.5 ton or considered a 2 ton. I have had it for a few months, but have not tagged it yet. I am sure they will tell me at the tag office, but curious.

Anyone know or how I can tell. It has 350 engine, 13.5" X 8".

Here is pic if anyone might know.

Thanks
MATT

It should have a metal tag on the door pilar that states GVW, that will tell you the maximum loaded weight of the truck, including the truck, then weight the empty truck and subtract the truck weight from the GVW and the difference is the payload. Hope this helps, Zach

Str8stripes is right. 1 ton, 1 1/2 ton nomenclatures are meaningless anymore. GVWR- curb weight = payload. For that truck I would guess 5-6000 pounds.
