We double cut everything regardless . They do fine but wet grass is wet grass and if your cutting enough off there's always clumps. At that point we blow the lawn clean of clumps. We try not to cut in the rain but it is Michigan and we run into it. Cutting in the rain is an art for sure to do it right and clean. As for weedy lawns dry or wet if your deck is scraped clean they do fine. Mulch kits in wet lawns is a mess! Master shoots are a life saver and every one of our mowers have one.
Hopefully this helps you.

Do you double cut even during the summer months when the grass is slowing down? Also, do you double cut big commercial properties?

Yes we double cut everything . we do some big lawns too.
as for summer most all of our lawns are watered. If they are real bad we will skip them or just cut whats needed but that is mostly on some smaller lawns. we do not double cut any of our parks or common lawns for city or county .
Thanks

What is a "Master Shoot"? Like a OCDC? (Operator Control Discharge)

How do you charge for double cutting ? It may sound like a stupid question, but I was just wondering how you go about doing that.

Its always included into the monthly charge we base or price on certain amount of cuts and the time it takes our 3 man crews to do the job.
