I wasn't looking for nice or for anyone to caudle me. I was hoping for some feedback on the trencher perhaps. But some of the responses are not straight or constructive. I would have posted or created a trencher vs plow thread had I wanted to solicit those responses. But hey I'll man up and concede that I could have titled the thread differently to more accurately garner positive info on the equipment I purchased. Lesson learned. But rest assured I'm not going to pitch softball hence forth...

You made the right choice getting a trencher, guys you can't plow in the majority of east Texas. I did an install a few weeks ago that we had almost as much rocks (golf ball sized and smaller) in the backfill as red soil. Between rocks, large oak or pine roots, clay, and trash from concrete/masonry crews its nearly impossible.
I'm with you on this one Put up with their sarcasm, most of them are good guys just wanting to help.
Congrads, and good luck! I'm looking at purchasing a mini skid/trencher in a few months. Market is booming here in Longview.
