Billing for upcoming months services

Just curious how many (if any) of you charge in advance for monthly services. I've been sending out invoices on the 15th for payment on the 1st and haven't had any issues. A new customer I just started with referred me to a property management company and said that they would most likely have an issue with my billing cycle and stated that he had never seen anyone bill as I do. Ill bill however the PM co wants if the price is right but I wanted to get some feedback from some of you guys to see if I am doing things correctly.

I bill this same way for commercial lawn maintenance and both residential and commercial snow removal.

I will tell you that most clients are ok with this if explained in advance, however a portion of clients (particularly property management firms for condo association s)

Prove yourself with quality, dependable service and most (not all) clients will have no problem with any billing format you suggest.

Remember that the client may have been stiffed in the past, and may be reluctant as a result... not that they dont trust you specifically.
