found me a new dealer as my old one went under but new one cant do work needed to b d

Found me a new Ferris dealer to do my warranty work on my ztr.The shop worked on my 2013 ztr for one week and realized they needed help. So they sent it to there main location 1 1/2 hrs away to get it looked at. It sounds like they could not handle work that needed to be done. The mower was making a weird humming noise at start up since I bought it. The old dealer said it could not find a problem.

calling Ferris is one of the worst experiences ever.
the engineers thing they are Gods Gift and there is/can never ever be, anything wrong with their mowers.

They will tell you nothing helpful, even if you live thousands of miles from a servicing dealer.

They refute anything you say or claim, even if you send pictures of the problem.

Nope that can't possibly be it.

Ferris isn't a help on the phone. they are too busy patting themselves on the back for having shocks on their mowers.

Some dealers are great others aren't so much, but the factory isn't a help.

Ferris only builds the machine part. It is a Kawasaki motor. Its a motor problem so Kawasaki should be responsible and not a Ferris design problem.

Wait… You have a Ferris with a Kawi motor?

Ferris and snapper are owned by briggs and stratton…. lol
That's like Ford selling trucks with a duramax in them!

the best thing about ferris (better than the shocks) is that the WHOLE machine comes from one company so you don't run into the 'Scag' problem of "well you see the engine vibration from the engine, causes the engine to make problems throughout he whole machine and so there for it's really a problem with the engine so go to talk to the engine manufacturer…oh did i say it was really a problem with the engine?"
But the hydro drive is faulty
"Yes but you see it's really just the engine"

Sorry I think it's funny you don't have a briggs motor on their own machine.

You must really have no clue. Every Ferris we own has a Kawi motor. Don't you supposedly have a Ferris Evolution? Yeah, Kawi motor on them.

williams, pay zero attention. Bad advice that tp gives is worse than no advice at all.
