Defoamer and crop oil

My defoamer label states it can be used as an adjuvant. Will .5-1 oz per 100 gallons affect the crop oil I already mix in? Should I reduce my crop oil to prevent burn.

I'm currently spraying 80/20 surfactant at 1 pint per acre. I've added a quick squirt into my zspray tank to help eliminate foam at fill up.

That's what I thought. I did burn a few spots last year when I started using defoamer but I was spraying out of two separate tanks. Had assumed I over applied or the mix had double the surfactant rate.

I do back off of the crop oil rates when it gets into the mid 80s or above.
