Yes, I have owed both the 6.0 and 7.3 and I'm actually looking for another 7.3 dump. And as I said it's just something to consider so all the facts are out there as they have many perks about them, but do have some drawbacks too...

I was talking more about the 6.0 and 6.4 with some of the major problems they can have...

well ya if its a ford then ya my 92 f250 drinks like a redneck left alone with a keg. It has the 5.8. Its worse then my dodge 1500 and my chevy 2500 I had.

I have a Chevy 2500hd 4x4 with 8.1 it gets 10mpg loaded,unloaded,hwy,uphill,downhill it doesn't matter 10 mpg also have duramax gets 22mpg hwy and 18mpg city 15mpg loaded with programmer. My buddy has a 94 Cummins 12valve 5 speed getting 24mpg with mowers.

Kinda of like my friend who is putting a 12 valve in a 80's 1 ton ton crew cab dully, with a 6 inch lift and semi tires. He thinks he will get 28mpg........ try 16mpg if he is lucky
