Today is day 1 of a major landscaping job for us. This part in this section was to get rid of 3 big pear trees and thin the other 3. The idea is to get sun so the new sod can grow. Major amount of traffic on both sides so we tried to hit slow time around 9 to 11.

Pulled out our big chipper and chipped in our largest trailer. We put a hitch on the trailer to pull it.

Pulled in with dump trailer for all the large pieces. We had most of it cleaned up in 4 hours. Definitely easier and faster to chip as opposed to stacking limbs in a trailer.

Two days ago we had hard ice on windshields. Then it goes up and back down. We are sending some hot winds north today. Yesterday th wind was confused even though it was 85F. It came out og north a couple times during the day.
I miss TX. I wish it was 85 here.

Went into the storage bin to check to see if everything runs. Well this the Cougar didn't start after 3 years in storage. That Stihl PB420 started right up.

We had a trailer load of sod delivered Saturday. We added some soil adders and it sorta bite us in that we had to raise about a 100 heads.
That is about 25% of the sod.

Can't image using bulk on this type situation. We got about a mile with trees on both sides and middle.

Put a battery booster on and ether directly in the carburetor and it started and I drove it around. This unit is more than 10 years and has prototype comand 25 hp kohler. TRUGREEN ran this unit under test before we got it. We did not have one major repair on this unit.

Not sure what yer doing with the trees there???? Just cut them down. How will they even survive such a hack? Definitely doesn't look good.

Those 3 trees were removed incuding the stumps. There was just to much shade to grow grass. When we remove trees we use the pole chain saw to cut the top stuff that will run through the chipper. The stuff you see goes into dump trailer.
