Advertising Online or Magazines?

For the last several years I have spent thousands on paper magazines sent out monthly to a targeted area. I believe the results were minimal at best.

I know networking is the most effective way to grow your business, but you cant multiply yourself.

This year I am focusing on internet marketing via google, bing, angie's list, facebook and the list goes on.

Any suggestions on what has been successful for you?

I think the new age of marketing is the internet. I am by no means an expert, I'm trying to branch out there too. A good webpage and SEO will do wonders. Last year I did some marketing on facebook, I got a few requests for quotes but they were a little out of my service area, once a month cuts, etc. I paid for "likes" with facebook and am currently doing that now. I have it running until the end of Feb. From there I will post specials and other things to drive business to my website. When doing ad campaigns on facebook, you can target specific areas and ages. So we'll see how it does this year.

I also have used Adwords in the past. This did really well for me.
