Powder coat verse paint

Looking at two new 6x10 trailers, all specs equal 15 inch tires , 3500lb axles, gate. One is painted for 889.00 and one is powder coated for 1389.00 Powder coat worth 500 extra?

Powder coating can last longer, is generally more expensive. I would be more concerned with coating the underside of the trailer after the fact to protect against rust. All the best.

I would go with the paint and buy a can of por15 and paint it on the axles and under deck parts.

Powder coating is great, just look at any Scag, but for a trailer I think paint will do you just fine

In short yes, it's worth it. Just depends if it's worth it to you or not. For me, no. But you may feel differently.

For a 6x10 trailer Id get the paint, and keep some 1.00$ spray paint around.
