Hey Whites!!!

Thanks for the message on my page brother!

Great photos! Looks like you have some nice canvases to work with...

I have actually had the pleasure of running Walkers since the mid to late 90's working for a big outfit in the greater Boston area...

However only recently did I start my own company and buy my first girl... an MT26GHS.... (the kohler efi's are amazine huh?)

How many units do you have and do you you have any of the B or H series units?

I am going to have to get something for the bigger properties in the next couple years and of course I think Scag, Exmark, Gravely, and Deere all make great mid mounts..... However I am really excited to look into the H series! I have heard nothing but good things about them so far....

What say you?

Early H series had some hydraulic issues on the wheel motors, hit or miss, so don't buy a used one! lol.

For the price of the Super B (now called an MH) Im not sure you really see a lot of added production over an MB.

The MH doesn't swap decks or attachments freely between the tractors like the MB/MTs.
So it has a few incompatibility issues and marginal additional production.

It's a cool mower no doubt, but an MB is a very affordable option and can run a 56 Side discharge or a 42 mulch deck.
Something the H can't.

That being said, the 56 RD deck is quite the machine when mated on the H
But I think I like the 60 SD.
But the price is staggering.

If you were going to but a big snow blower on it, it would help out quite a bit and be worth it.

But if you are just going to mow, there is a lot of bang for the buck in a B.

The speed differences between the H and B are not huge either.

Did you experience the same severe winter kill in Louisiana on your centipede yards that we did on our yards in Alabama. Btw I love your setup!

Can't wait to tackle lawns with this beast!
Is there anything new about the new T series over the old MT series? Or is it really just a name change?

I was buying a bunch of parts over the winter and the dealer (FM Abbott) stated the differences were cosmetic only in the MT/T series. He said they were going to be $400 more over the 2013 model as well.

They also stated that they were going away from the 1000 hour seal on the hydros and were going to start recommending servicing every year. I guess Eaton had returned a bunch of hydros Walker replaced under warranty stating all that was wrong was a cheap input seal and that the hydro had been run out of fluid. Basically people were not touching or looking at their hydros as they were sealed and many of the returned hydros could of been fixed or if serviced and checked saved.

Unknown if anyone else could confirm that but this dealer has been around a very long time although I have not dealt with them much myself.

They are okay I guess I know they have been selling Walkers since the early 1990's if not longer than that so I think the experience is there.

Before I did my mini rehab on my mower this winter I called around to the 3 dealers and searched online for parts. They were all basically the same-some priced certain things $10 or so more than the other on one item, but then the next item was $10 or so cheaper.

George O Hayes has some decent online stuff but the prices were the same as just getting the item at Abbotts.
