I may be harsh on TK but I do like the machine and don't think anyone has better or smoother controls. I also like going back to being able to just pull the seatbar down and go, no stupid buttons to push. I just wish that TK would update the cab and options that are common on other brands.

Came across a contractor up north that picks up a TK with couple thousand hours and runs them up to 6000 hours, he has been very successful doing this. His point is the TK is a rebuildable machine not disposable like other machines.

Can't say much about the Kubota as I've not had a chance to run one.
If they're bolt on I suppose you could just take them off, problem solved.

Lol I've got a tl240 with 1500 hrs on it and I'm pissed, 2 ac control switches a new set of tracks and it's never been back to the dealer. Tl230 is just as bullet proof Something my new bobcats and new Hollands could never say. Btw neither of the bars are bent.

Not a single deere has left me impressed. I haven't run an E series yet but even the low hour, 320D I occasionally run isn't great. It's better then the older ones but I'm still glad to pull it back inside and shut it off and go do something else.

That's my second choice behind bobcat. Has to have pilot controls though I absolutely hate their hand controls. I had blisters after 3 hours of running one lol
