Mowing at 30F or 100F

After one hour this morning I will take 100F. Even with double pair of cotton gloves and a towel my fingars were freezing. I had to stop and warm them on muffler then they hurt like heck. Eventually I had to make a glove change and that did the trick. I had two coats on and long johns. The wind was blowing out of the north

30? 30?? Well, at least you had something to mow, right? Yeah, I'm jealous!

It was -6 here this AM...with a high of 9 yesterday. If you think that's cold, I'll let the boys up North share their "significant shrinkage" temps if they want.

And yeah, I like it HOT btw. Beats the snot out of cold.

I'd invest in some "thinsulate" gloves if I was gonna be out in anything resembling cold. About 18$ a pair and well worth it. Some moreno wool socks wouldn't hurt either.
Today was 73, so those aren't even harldy sold localy. 3 more months till the 110 heat

It is a green grassee weed that looks good and goes away when the temperature comes up. We had the weeds under control and that kept us from mowing during February. here is a different property that was sprayed by Trugreen back in November because we didn't want to continue mowing all year long. Good news it isn't going to need mowing soon. We badly need to get us an applicator.

Made my own solution with cotton glove inside a partial leather glove.
